Hi Craig: I generally use the next fractional size drill (1/32) under the
ream size and have not had any problems.(six aircraft now) The reamer sizes
you need Are 3/16 (.1875), 1/4 (.250), 5/16 (.3125) and 3/8 (.375). That's
four in total and make sure they are straight flute chucking reamers. Bob J

Hi Craig
You won't need any reamers that large. The brass bearing rivets to the
aileron and the 3/8" AIL-26 bushings fit that just fine with no reaming
on mine.
I do recomend reamers a couple of thou. undersize for struts and
wing/stab attach points. For aluminum I usually drill one size under
-which is perhaps 0.015" smaller than the reamer. I prefer a slow
turning drill press or portable drill for reaming as I can keep it
aligned better that way. A drop of aluminum cutting fluid never hurts.
AN bolts seem to vary a fair bit in diameter and all that I've measured
are several thou undersize and I hate slop in strut bolts.
