Craig you will love the Rebel I guarentee, I personaly would not split the flaps, What's your MM off Hy 1? I used to camp at Long Lake when going through the area I have a Rebel flying and love it. It's going on Amphib floats first flew 03/31/07 now has 124 hours on it 160 HP Lyc 0-320 powered. If you don't mind I'd like your Phone number as I'd like to talk to you.
