[rebel-builders] Rotech R2800 Rebel performance?

G'day Ben .....
I think you'd find that the Rotec 110 HP (due to it's geared output) would turn a MUCH bigger prop / pitch than a 912S would !
(there is no substitute for cubic inches .... and the Rotec is 2 & 1/2 times bigger than the 912 !) ... and yes, I know the 912 is geared too ....
Many "down here" say that the 110HP Rotec " pulls like a 140 HP" !
Wild guess - I reckon the 912 would probably have a hard time getting to 2000 RPM FLAT OUT - with a 76 X 55 prop' !
Hope this helps !

Some of the prop, horsepower, tip speed discussion has made me wonder --
does anyone know what the performance of a Rotech Rebel turned out like?
The R-2800 does 110HP at 2400rpm prop rpm (geared from 3600 rpm crank), on
a 76x55 prop. I'm curious how it would compare to a 912S Rebel.
