nylon washers but worth the effort. MAM's intent is to have the bushing
bolt tight with the AIL-26 tight against the support (metal to metal
conact) so I think a 3/8" hole in the nylon washer is recommended. I
keep my steel bushings well lubed so I don't think there is any danger
of them rusting. In lieu of a precision oiler I just use a small
blunted syringe to apply a drop or two of oil during the occasional
pre-flight walk-arounds. Handy for the gear pivots as well. There are
some anti-rust oil/greases in aerosol cans with 6" thin plastic
applicator tubes that might be even better.

I bought a sheet of 1/16" nylon sheet and cut 1" discs out of it with a hole saw. The hole saw had a 1/4" drill/pilot and all it took was filing the "fuzz" off the edge and central hole.
