Yup, saw that little spot of yellow, and after zooming in, sure enough, that
was Gary's folk-ummm. Some really neat pics. Thanks for sharing.

Well I'm in the process of collecting other pictures from everyone to
combine with mine and when I sort through them I will be putting together a
slide show of our complete trip - need to wait for Gary and Ron to get home
from OSH.

In the meantime I've posted a few pictures under 403 - fly-in' to give you a
very small taste.

- 3 Rebels in front of the building in Swift Current - next stop Medicine
Hat.

- one is of Gary passing us in FOKM in Rogers Pass - his plane is very small
and it really points out the size of the mountains. It was very difficult to
keep track of the other planes in the air. They looked very small in
comparison to the background - even though he was probably less than a mile
or so away.
- I'm sorry but I don't remember who is with Dick - who had this great smile
all after noon.
- Ken and his daughter Susan with my co pilot Peter - strike a typical pose
under the wing of WOC in Arlington - we all had code names -
Waldo, Cutie, WOC (Walk), Duckie, and folk-ummm.
- Walter and his rebel plus one with both Dick and Walter's planes together.
- A couple of air to air shots - one with Ken and one with Ken and Tom.
- Of course the partially completed YUKON in the Murphy booth.

I think that's it for now - I'm not sure how we're going to post the slide
show yet - Ron has offered his server so we'll see over the next month.

Cheers

Yeah, I envied you guys. That's what is great about these trips. You meet
a
lot of great people with common interests, and learn a lot about cross
country flying. I do want to do it again one of these years.

I will post a few on the site - including a good one of you Walter.
I really enjoyed meeting you and the rest of the group - they sure put on
a
spread for us.
I'm not sure you heard about our experience latter that night - but
When we got back to the tents Peter and I were looking for a party and
when
we couldn't find one we decided to go get some beer. Well that meant
walking
all the way to the south/east side of the airport ( I would guess 1.5
miles)
to the gas station south of the runway. On our way over we heard a little
bit of a party coming from one of the hangars on the south end so we went
in
to ask directions. Well the folks were very nice and we met Julie Clark
who
of course is a big fan of Canadians and proudly showed off her Canadian
Snow
Birds ring. One of the other people in the hangar drove us to the store
and
then back through their hangar and across the field almost to our tents.
It saved us a lot of walking and allowed us to carry a few more
provisions.
Well the party turned into a real good evening thanks to Julie Clark and
her
friends.

Jim

Hi Dale, just looking at old e-mail after our Ramble that took us to
Arlington. I have some pixs that I could post or send directly to you.
Not sure if anyone else has responded?

Cheers
