Witches Hat/Firewall

Can anyone tell me, Does it make a difference which way the witches hats go?
I seem to have not been awake or something and I have it going from top
right hand corner to the left lower corner. { / } The manual shows it going
from the top left side going down to the lower right corner.{ \ } Of course
this is looking at the firewall from the front.
Does this matter ?
