Hi Bob I bought my tires at Haugh tire in Exeter $36 sounds about right.
They ordered them in for me and I had them the next day. I've bought tubes
off the shelf at the TSC store in Goderich so they might not be that
uncommon either.
Bob Can you add me to the ramble list please. I may be able to go with you
guy's as far as MN. Then I'm going to head north to my camp from there.

Right on, Drew !

We've run the Carlisle or DICO golf cart tires on all of our
Rebels .... They make for great landings ! ;-)

I've heard they can be bought at WallyMart too.....
Do you recall the name of your store -- I might need a tire
or 2 soon .... ??? You do have to watch the tube - you
need a special valve stem setup for some rims .... Just
match what you have ! (And get a spare tube to carry
in the Rebel when travelling - they can be hard to find !)

Seems to me the Carlyle tires sold for about $36 each ...
In any case, they only last about 2 years on pavement,
but forever on grass !! At the low price, it's not too bad
replacing them every couple of years....

One caution - they are only rated for about 600 lb each,
and "not for road use" ..... Have always worked fine for us,
though !

Hi Garry When my McCrearys wore out I switched to Carlisle 8.00-6 golf
cart tires. These are the same ones that shipped with many of the early
rebels. I don't have enough time with them to say how well they wear but
if you go into rough strips I think they're a lot nicer because of the
bigger footprint and you can run much lower pressures. They are cheaper
than aviation tires and I bought them at my local farm/auto tire store.
