ANR Headsets, Was: Re: [rebel-builders] Door Windows

Garry there might be a way to have your cake & eat it too, check out the ANR
add-on kits from Headsets Inc. (besides, after a divorce there wouldn't be as
much loose change floating around as before would there ;o0)
We have updated a set of Clarks (hers) as well as making me a set of clones from
scratch. I've never been spoiled by trying a set of "good" store bought ANRs
but the difference between ANR on and off is phenomenal. Hey if they weren't so
bulky I'd use them for working in the shop (following Wayne's GOOD advice).
Pretty impressive in the shop too because you can stand beside the big upright
air compressor and turn them on and it's almost like it's not there!
Anyhow, if you can build an airplane (and that's why we're here right!) you can
mod a set of headsets with these kits.
Anyone else out there try them?

If u don't have an ANR head set, get divorced and buy a good set. I was/am a
commercial pilot and if it wasn't for a good David Clark ANR set, my hearing
would be alot worse than what it is. It's worth the money and if u have a
couple more bucks, get the Bose.

Thanks Ron. It will be done. Both sides and hopefully prior to the ramble.

of the the best things you can do to reduce noise is use thicker window
