I believe I put an angle bracket on each side of the slot in the top
door frame that the plastic protrudes down through. A bolt through the
plastic and the brackets is the pivot. Think I rivetted or bolted some
metal arms onto the plastic for the actuation mechanism. Both the
locking knob and the non locking knob came from Spaenaur. I can look up
part numbers if you like.
There is enough fiddling involved that you could probably speed things
up by just leaving the windows off and having it inspected without them.
ie you might add windows if it gets too cold for a snowmobile suit next
winter...
I work all weekend but could possibly arrange to drop by today if you
are there. Got to chop wood for a half day this morning or this
afternoon but I can "play" for part of today ;)
