Doug, I just installed the bases on the left wing of my Rebel. It was a
pretty close fit and I had to bend the sides a bit (they had "sprung" a
little), but I was able to fit mine in level and away from the radius by
about 1/16". I noticed that while it looked like the bases were a
little high (toward the top skin), they really were ok. Check for skin
clearance with a scrap piece of .020. Hope this helps. If you still
can't get a fit, write me and I'll measure my rear spar and bases to
compare to yours.
