Tank vents

Hi all,
I have 2 - 3/8" vent tubes for my fuel tanks. I need to park my airplane outside for a while and don't want rain entry or mud daubers. When parked the tubes kind of point upward. Any ideas? Someone mentioned a small gas filter screen clamped on to keep bugs out, I don't know if the rain will keep out though?
