Just wanted to say a quick thanks guys for the help and tolerance for a
non-MAM related problem.

Within 40 minutes of posting the message below I had been directed to Felts
Field Aviation in Spokane. I learned from them that their shop manager had
recently left to start his own business right on the Deer Park airport. A
quick call to Matt and he's headed across the street to find me a set of
wings!

Thanks again guys.

Mike

Well after waiting over 3 weeks to get a pair of wings back in the Midwest
looked at by a friend, we found they are badly corroded. So, I'm now
looking at my backup plan. While searching for wings I found a salvage
yard
in Deer Park Washington, which looks to be about a half hour north of
Spokane. The owner told me he had 20 sets of 150 wings in the yard, and
the
price was good as well. I've been told by a local friend who has dealt
with
this salvage yard in the past that they are upright people, and he
wouldn't
hesitate to buy from them again.

What can I say, after what I've gone through so far, I'm hesitating. Is
there anybody on the list near Deer Park who can recommend a trust worthy
IA
that I could pay to go to the yard and inspect/pick out a good set of
wings
for me? I'd really like to know I'm getting a good set of wings before
shipping them all the way to Alaska.

Thanks, Mike
