Hi guys !

Here's an article I ran across on carving multiple
layers of different density foam to shape seats. Mine
are done this way, with the sloped bolsters on the sides
for extra support - very comfortable ! These are in a
Tailwind, but the same ideas apply.

Thought this might help, for those who are at that
stage of building ...

Glad it helped, Nig !

The key to comfort is the layers of different densities -
you want the bottom of the seat to be high density,
the next layer medium, and the top soft ... OR -
better, use a TempurFoam sandwich for the top
layer. These are available from several sources -
they are 3 layers of different density TempurFoam,
about 18" square, and about 1"+ thick. This really
makes for comfort on long flights !!

The high-density foam is really easy to cut -
especially if you use a sharp electric carving knife.
(Just don't let the BOSS see you sneaking it out
of the kitchen !! ;-) )
