Hi Mike !

You're not alone with that problem ! Here's a thread
at Vans -

First thing is to be sure the intercom is on ALL, not ISOLATE,
or PILOT .... There IS an adjuster on the radio - small hole on
top to access....

operators manual, let alone an installation drawing!
