Cracking of skin under windshield...any reports?

Mike and others,

Regarding the holes in the roof skin, I seem to recall
someone saying they installed doublers around the
cut-outs as someone else had reported cracks? Anyone
else heard this?

the windshield and all you need is to cut two holes
in the roof skin. These
are the ones nicely positioned to make it easier to

I got "window kits" sometime back - came with no
glass, only frames. I used

lexan from home supply and it worked well. I used
all side window frames,
but did not install the overhead eyebrows - sort of
wish I had - at least
put in the two forward overhead ones - in fact, may
retrofit these.
Visibility in turns is somewhat restricted without
them.
