[rebel-builders] 0-360 boost pump

Posting this message for Gil Tessier about his Elite that is nearing
completion. He has an engine driven fuel pump but has no back up or boost
pump in the works for his project. What has been the norm for this type of
system? I would imagine that a back up pump to the side with a one way
valve installed on the main fuel line would be mandatory from an inspectors
view?

[rebel-builders] 0-360 boost pump

It is in Canada at least. If you have one pump..must have two. Pros and Cons
to both arrangements..series or parrallel... with both being acceptable
installs.

That said...if his fuel lines are run properly...rearward from the tank
outlet, down the rear window area and forward after that for a proper
gravity feed run......I'd be removing the fuel pump, putting a plate over
the mounting boss and running gravity feed to KISS.

[rebel-builders] 0-360 boost pump

Thanks Wayne
I'm not sure what size pipe/hose assemblies were provided with his kit but
I'm thinking that it is 1/4" inside diameter. May be a fuel flow test with
what he has minus the pump would be the thing to do. I believe that the
lines are routed properly for the best gravity flow. That answers the
question!

He should have 3/8 lines. If so and he ran a good route he'll have good
flow.
