[rebel-builders] Aircraft tie downs

A good tie down set can be had at:
http://www.airtimemfg.com/
They are titanium, are much stronger than steel, are light weight
(I believe the whole package is less than 2 lbs.), and hold very
well even though the seller is a ultralight buff. They hold as well
as several others that I have tried and are also compact.

An interesting document on tie downs. One thing I never thought of was
digging the mainwheels into a depression to act as chocks and lower the
wing angle in strong winds.
Any thoughts on whether the Fly Ties or the Claw (half the price) is a
better portable tie down? Or something homemade?
