All the old Amateur built C of A's had Day VFR only on them. This was
supposed to come off after the 25 hour restrictions were removed, but it
wasn't always done. FOKM had a "Day VFR" C of A until I did the engine
change and got a new one...that now states VFR Only.

To the best of my knowledge there is no where on the MD-RA or TC inspection
paperwork that has them check to see if your airplane is equipped for LEGAL
night flight.

Drew...you know better than to go asking anymore questions about paperwork
for your airplane....dang...you wanna be grounded all this summer toooooooo
LOL

On my old C of A it had a restriction that said daytime VFR only. My new
one just says VFR only. Has there been a change to the way they're issued
or is it possible TC made a mistake? Is this something I should bother
getting corrected or should I just hang some lights on my plane and fly it
whenever I want?
Drew

Before I get anymore emails direct...yes we can fly homebuilts in Canada
both IFR and do aerobatics. Both of these do have inspections and/or
demonstration of manouvers required to get the C of A to show IFR or the
manovers for aerobatics that can be performed in the aircraft.
