[rebel-builders] Flap Aileron Plate nuts

You're looking for HIGH quality..with GOOD thread... ONE lug FIXED anchor
nut. NOT a cheap stamped thread item with a floating nut.

I have none of the deep thread stainless steel ones left that I was selling
to the guys. Went thru over two thousand of them. Best I can do is send you
a picture of what we were using..as I don't know an equivilant MS number for
it.

There are a couple choices of plate nuts in my catalog. Could someone
please
tell me the MS number of the dimpled plate nuts used to mount the flap &
aileron hinge (W-125)

[rebel-builders] Flap Aileron Plate nuts

Thanks Wane. I tried to find them in the archives but I am never very
successful there. From the picture you sent my 1999 Sky bolt catalog shows
two. One is a MS21080-3 with a nylon insert overall length = 1.031. The
other is all metal 450 Deg. MS21051-3 overall length = .950 no nylon lock
insert, or MS21052 is the same but in stainless steel. Both thick enough to
counter sink. I don't know if these numbers ring a bell but looks like
either would work. Thanks for the help.

[rebel-builders] Flap Aileron Plate nuts

If you look at the picture I sent you...you'll see that I use a single 1/8"
rivet in the outer lug hole...inserted from the inside. This way the rivet
doesn't interfere with the shims under the W-125. Other option as you
suggested is to C/S the spar itself for a solid rivet(s).

The old AN number of something similar to what I was using..thanks to Dale
Fultz's digging up from old discussions...is AN366-F1032

The one I show in my picture had some special part number as it was custom
order stuff for Canadair...but it did have a locking feature at the top of
the thread bore.
