--Hi, my name is Randy McCallum and I have just recently purchased Rebel #052
on
the recommendation of Bob Patterson. So my thanks to Bob for his advise
during
our phone conversations. This aircraft has 39 hrs. on it and is powered
by a 180 HP. Subaru Crossflow engine. The Rebel is located at Nanaimo,B.C.
and I have to get
it back to Burlington, Ontario. The weather has been unco-operative for
quite a few weeks now, so I have decided to rent a U-haul and truck it home.
I need some information from you guys. The truck door opening is 7'3 w X 7'2
h and the inside measurements are 23' 5" x 7'9" x 8'2" L x W x H. I am going
to have to take off the horizontal stabilizer and
elevator. Can I take off one side or do I have to take off both? Is this
task
straight foreword or is there a certain order for doing this? Could
someone
give me a list of the tools (wrench and socket sizes etc.)I will need to
take
the wings, stabilizer and elevator off. If there is any other
information you
think I might need to know about, I am all ears. Thank you.
Randy.
