My Fus-45 brackets are about an inch in from the outside edge of the bulkhead
(or the side of the fuselage). This leaves room to run the angle piece (about 2
feet long) forward and aft along the bottom outside corner of the fuselage.

The bungee gear rear attach point assembly is giving me some concern regarding
the position of the 1" tube with relationship to the attach brackets (fus-45).
The book states to install it so a line drawn down the center shows in the 3
lower holes but it doesn't say how it should be positioned left or right. i.e.
should the right end be flush with the edge of the bulkhead, the right side of
fus-45 or should it be centered on the middle hole? or?

<!doctype html public "-//w3c//dtd html 4.0 transitional//en"> Ken my manual says how far fus-45 (the triangular piece) should be up/down and sideways on the bulkhead ...what it doesn't say is where the 1" tube (Fus-61) should be in a left/right direction with relationship to fus-45. Up/down fus-61 centers on the lower row of holes but there is no indication about left/right. My inclination is to also center it left/right in relationship to the middle of the 3 holes in the bottom row ...but whenever I make assumptions like that it later comes back to bite me.

My tube is not centered, it is inboard about 5/8" from the fuselage side which
leaves room for a rivet that comes up through that angle piece I mentioned that
runs along the fuselage corner (fus-35?).

However it looks to me like if you butted the tube against the side of the
fuselage, that same rivet would go into the tube which would also be OK and
maybe even stronger. That might even be close to the same as centering the tube
in the bracket. The rivet that I'm talking about is centered on the tube anyway
in my fuselage, don't know about yours. You need to avoid a problem with that
rivet line in any event.
