Tell them you have lots of stuff and need the 40 footer. Pack the airplane
first and what ever else you have second to hid it! What ever doesn't
fit...buy new...it will save you money. That's what Monty plans to do! ;o)

Thanks Wayne.
According to others, the width of the gear from
outside of the tires is 99". The standard container
width is 96". However, I am hoping with no engine or
wings, the width might be less. Weight will make the
gear spread out I would think. I don't have mine up on
wheels yet, but I am close to that point.
Prices were sure high for shipping to Hawaii!? I
better start eating beans and saving up for this.
Company has said they will move furniture, but no
boats, cars, planes, etc!
Thanks, -Jason

accrossGuys,
Anyone know the best way to move my SuperRebelCalgary.the 'Pond'? It will be going from the UK toandFortunately I am 'engineless' so it's just the
fuselage (near complete), wings, tail surfaces, placingcontrol surfaces. I was thinking about placing the
control surfaces in thick bubble wrap and thengear? Ithem inside the fuselage.
What I am debating is: on the gear or off theloadsguess the way spring steel landing gear absorbtois by speading laterally, which they won't be ablefuselage ondo in a container. However, if I place thecushion!?it's belly I am afraid of it not having anyhaveAny ideas?
I have found pics on the internet where peoplewithappeared to place their aircraft in containers on
their gear and then fastned the gear to the flooronesteel brackets.

Wayne, you had a thread in 2001 where you shippedprotection aroundof your Rebels to Hawaii. Any learnings from that?
Thanks, -Jason
