Hi Rick !

I agree with everybody ! :-) Leave the shot - but be careful on
that first flight ! You will likely find you can fly at very steep <angles>
(nose up) - but speeds may not be too much different .... just be
careful, and get used to it "up high" ....

I wouldn't bother with VG's on the fin - the Rebel has LOTS of
rudder already, and you don't need the drag. If you want to try
VG's on the horiz. stab, be sure to put them on the BOTTOM,
in front of the hinge line. This way, they give a bit more effective
up elevator, for a nicer landing. I flew one where they were
incorrectly installed on top - just more drag !

If you decide to try them on the wings, use a removeable
adhesive first - positioning is critical, and i've flown one Rebel
where the VGs just ruined the handling qualities !! You might
want to chuck them !

Definitely do not add VGs until after you have tried it out
with the cuff .... one big change at a time is enough excitement !

Have fun on that first flight !! ..... and BE CAREFUL !!!! :-)

(NO spot landings .... ;-) )
