[rebel-builders] Yukon news ...

Hi Dale !
Latest I've heard, the Yukon is coming along well. Most of
the major pieces are assembled, awaiting government inspection ...
and that can be a problem ! Some builders here have waited
over 2 months to get inspections & paperwork through !!!
If there's more than another week or so of delay, it will be
almost impossible to get the Yukon finished in time for S 'n F !
Don't know what we'll do in that case ... Either have a small
display, maybe with just a local Renegade & Rebel, or just wait for
Oshkosh & have a big display again. In any case, Anna & I
will be there, and we'll try to organize another Murphy Builders
Get Together like last year's, at the campground corn roast
- that was fun !! :-) I think everybody enjoyed it,
and we'll do it again if you guys want it ...
Once the Yukon pieces are inspected, the assemblies can all
be completed & closed up. Then the engine goes on, and the
cowling can be fitted, and all the wiring & plumbing finished.
There is one final inspection to be done before the test flight
permit can be issued, then 25 hours of test flying, and the
final paperwork returned.... A LOT to do in the little time
left before S n F !!! Soooooo - it IS progressing, but, as
all of you know too well .. "Everything takes longer than you
figure !" :-)
Once the web site gets straightened up, we hope to have
Yukon progress pictures posted again, maybe every few weeks.

Bob,, Great view point. I can understand how hard it is to be waiting on
parts to finish something and it seems like it takes forever for them to
arrive ( waited the over a year for my fuselage kit to find out the order
was lost some place but I managed to survive and it's been well worth the
wait). Now lets change this to a positive thing,,, How about an update on
the Yukon,,, how is progress coming,, etc. Dale SR-033 N269DF
