No, unfortunately ! I had arranged to take the original
912 Rebel down, but there were too many delays -
digging it out of the back of a hangar, getting it ready,
getting insurance, and not having a passport was the final
straw ! I didn't need a passport to fly over until the 23rd,
BUT - you can't get a 'no transponder' waiver without a
passport number !!! :-(
I'm really disappointed ! The Rebel is an ideal LSA -
there's nothing else out there with this much room and
performance, and this year will be a landmark LSA show.
I sure hate to miss it !!! Maybe we can get a new 912-S
Rebel for next year's show .... :-)
We'll be here for the next Rebel Builders Meeting, at
Brampton RAA, on Sunday, January 14th.
