Mike,
One big (although expensive) help is to use the swiveling eyeball firewall
penetrations. They provide fire seal, an additional cable sheath grip, and
allow firewall penetration at a step angle to minimize bending at that
point. It allows the cables to remain closer to the firewall and therefore
helps the bend radius at the bottom. The short MAM mount makes cable
routing difficult at best. One other help is the Vans plate that goes
between the carb and sump. It will require custom cables but can minimiz
e routing headaches. Vans can supply the cables as well. Give them a call
for a catalog if you do not have one.
