G'day Guys 'n' Gals !!!
Rick Harper here in OZ again ... ( long time no hear - I hear you say ! )
I have a....l....m....o....s...t...... finished rebuilding our REBEL - after my "less than graceful arrival" about a year & a half back ..... ( also, my dad passed away 6 months ago too - and this STOPPED any work on the plane for over 5 months , while I sorted my mum out :o(
I couldn't afford to purchase one of Angus McKenzie's excellent cuff kits ... so I made a set of my own - ( with the serious help of an aircraft designer friend of mine here in OZ )
I've also bought 2 sets of Vortex Generators - which is why I need your help / advice.
Can any of you out there please give me your opinions / findings as to WHERE the BEST placement is for VG's on :
The wings
The stabilisers
The Tail / Rudder
PICTURES would be really nice too !!!
Failing that ..... accurate descriptions & measurements ?!?
BTW : I now have a cuff on the leading adge .... slightly "bigger" / more substantial than Angus' design !
Many Thanks Folks !!!
and ALL the BEST for CHRISSY to you ALL from Wendy & I
Rick Harper
"Biggus"
PS : I'm sending THIS e-mail as I literally walk out the door - to spend tonight & all of tomorrow working on our REBEL ... (so I may not get to see any replies until late Thursday night (my end - "down under")
