I also been looking for a sun visor setup of some sort for this project. Anyone know where I can find some other than those several hunded dollar ones in ACS?

A note of caution on use of dark plastic window film. I used it on a motorcycle flat shield where it was installed and left on. Crazing developed under the portion of the shield covered by the film. My guess is that off gassing from the film as the culprit. If it had been used only when actually needed crazing might not have ocurred. However, the damage cost of an aircraft windshield is greater than a $6 flat shield.
