[rebel-builders] Re Jabiru and high speed prop

Had a nice tour around the Aussie Web Ring from that page !

It was interesting to see the mods on the Jabiru engines -
they all seem to have gone to the Rotax 4-into-1 tank mufflers,
likely to gain some power. The additional cooling mods were
interesting - maybe some airflow issues, and the oil cooler ...
All show it as a work in progress - as are many of the new engines.
That prop certainly looks substantial - wonder about the cost ?
Wish more manufacturers would provide easy, accurate ways to
adjust blade pitch, like the new Sensenich, with just one adjusting
bolt in the center. It used to take a full day to get a Warp Drive
or GSC prop set right (and even !) ... :-(
Two-blade props are always more efficient than 3 blades, but
I guess the Jabiru aircraft has a limit on diameter - in addition
to the limit imposed by the high rpm necessary to develop power.

I too am building to suit our RA Aus 600 KG MTOW, and the engine is
