[rebel-builders] Web site to record building progress

Post by Mike Davis » Sun Feb 19, 2012 11:30 am

Well I can either just give you space on the server where you can ftp up
what ever you want, or I can setup a forum type site for you like I use my
personal builders log. The forum type site isn't something you could put on
a CD, but any of the other sites you see already hosted could be put on a
CD.

Hi Mike,

I noticed you offer a place for builders to set up their web sites...can
one
generate a static version of this site for FAA inspection, printing,
and/or
storage on CD? I just bought a partially complete kit #786 and would like
to
get organized before actually beginning work.
Many thanks,

Rob

[rebel-builders] Web site to record building progress

Hi Rob, clearing out email and saw that I'd never heard back from you on
this so thought I'd reply again. Using the web site for FAA documentation
requirements is exactly what I did with my last experimental. You will have
to print out a hard copy to submit with your application paper work that
goes to Oklahoma City, but my local inspector really like being able to
browse the web site. The "hard copy" I submitted was very abbreviated,
probably only 10% of what was on the web site, and I had no problems getting
the registration through.

If you'd like me to setup a site for you let me know, it doesn't take long
at all.

Mike
