Hello, Bob:
I say "maybe" because my brother and I sent in an order for a Rebel on
October 13, 2006.
To date we have not received any order acknowledgement from Murphy Aircraft.
We did know that the check was cleared on October 26.
We called the factory on November 17 to see if something might have been
lost in the mail. At that point we were told that the order acknowledgement
and the requested manual on CD would go out Monday, 20 November. We still
have not received anything.
In fairness, I did receive a call from Stephane last night, telling me that
there had been some "problems" in the office, and that he would personally
see to it that the letter got in the mail today, December 6, 2006.
Bob Patterson was nice enough to check for us back in early November and
said the we had been assigned serial number 808R. So that is why I added
maybe to the email. I am old enough to know that sometimes you have to let
events unfold at a pace that is set by others. But it does surprise and
concern me a bit that we have not received a formal acceptance and
acknowledgement of our order of October 13.
Reminds me of that serenity prayer:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
And that's the story.

Tim,
You just have to get onto Western Canada time!
Kind of like Key West and Jamaica but one heck of a lot colder.
Took me over two months to get sub-kit #1 for 806R.
Cool runnings! Irie! Ya mon!

2 years ago I ordered my Elite in September, supposed to get it in November,
but didn't get it until end of January. I was getting a bit nervous to say
the least.
