Good job mike,
I am anticipating the creation of my own monster with a certain amount of
dread. I don't know much about electrical stuff. I do have the book though.
Do you think I can make an electrical system with limited knowledge, just
using the book and of course asking you guys lots of questions?
Jesse

Its alive, finally put battery power to electrical system, did not work at
first cause stupid me mixed up starter and battery contactors, how dumb is
that, but after finding mistake hooked up battery, flipped master and
power,
gyros came on, low volt light cam on, finally a big step done, now just
check a few circuits and ready to build cowl

I highly recommend using aeroelectric connection book and its online
resources, wiring diagrams are great help, also b & c speciality for
electrical parts is great

Best thing I did was use aeroelectric method of marking all wires with
little pieces of paper and then clear heat shrink over top the paper line
numbers to protect them

Anyway may make rebel ramble yet

You can follow wiring diagrams in aeroelectric book or drawings in eaa
books, both are good sources of info, eaa are very simple while aeroelectric
are much more advanced

To do wiring get good tools from b&c, label both ends of all wires, run one
wire at a time

Most important have a complete wiring schematic in front of you and mark off
as you do each wire

I use cad system at work so did my drawing and could plot as big as I want
I was thing of offering a service to do peoples wiring schematics and books,
not design for them but draw and compile it in a book done with cad system
so it looks good, you could be my first customer
If you go onto builders site under electrical-rebel I have posted examples
of over all schematics in PDF form, don't use it however it has mistakes
