Warren,
If you haven't already and your tanks hold pressure, DO NOT use Sloshing
Compound when it is not neccessary. It will come back to haunt you one
day!!!! (if you have an non-accessable leak you have no real choice) And yes
as you have stated, bigger is better and easier to build than the standard
Rebel. I found it very enjoyable doing the SR tanks area as compared to the
standard rebel. The nicest thing being the straight cut tank and wing skins,
as opposed to the L shaped cut out on the Rebel wing skin and the rear
bulkheads that had to be installed for the tank.
Blue skies,
Wayne
P.S. That throttle quadrant going to work for you?? If it doesn't, when you
sell it to someone else, the plastic cover alone sells at $71 U.S. from Wag
Aero.

second and third bay soOn my first SR wing with the extended tanks there is no access to the
slosh as I'll beI wasn't able to fillet these bays nor use the "A" however got lucky.
For the rest I used PRC "B" then "A" with no leaks. I'll also follow with a
fillet ahead of timeusing Mogas in the M14P.
.As I'm ready to close the second wing I'll follow Wrays hint and make a
Spar to falsein the 2nd and 3rd bay on the main and rear spars. Great idea!
For those unaware, the SR fuel tank is from the Spar to Spar, the Rebel is
small piece ofSpar. Tough break Rebel guys ;-(

For anyone who is not putting in tank access holes what I did was cleco a
coat to this areaal to the 4th rib and each stringer on the top and give a good proseal
the aluminumwhen i coated all the seams and bottom skin rivets. Later I then removed
---------**--------------------------------------------------------------------------bits just before coating everything for the top skin install.
