TO all who are just starting:
I have made a good adcessment off of the group over the years of
watching it ( answering questions when I can) asking questions also when I
am out for a voice of opinions.
When I first started and joined the list they said the best advice they
could give is to get it done, do it right and keep it simple. Well after
many hours of figuring stuff out for my self I have come to the conclusion I
could probably be flying by now had I followed there advice at the time I
thought I could do it better quicker. Well better on somethings but quicker
has gone out the window a long time ago. What seems to happen to some guys
is they make so many changes then get disgusted with not having it done yet
and don't do the the quality of work they did when they started.
I have become much more intelligent about these planes in the last year
but I can tell ya, if Bob ,, or Wayne and others tell ya it isn't worth the
extra time take there advice (they are usually speaking from experience) and
Keep It Simple and you will get done a lot sooner and be happy in the end.
Thanks guys for all the help you have given me, I am getting closer and
thought I would give some advice to the new people that are looking...Wish I
would have listened!!
One last thought I was told when I started don't buy instruments and
changes till you need them. Reason being things and ideas change over time,
you think things happen quicker then they really do ( a job you think will
take an evening or day could take a week in the end) I bought a lot of
instruments when I started some new , some used , some I thought I got a
good deal on, well in the end I changed my ideas and not used anything
really that I got. So I wasted the time and money. My fault I didn't take
there advice. Another reason I thought I would post after my learning
