Hi all
A good gage to use is a fuel pump test gage which can be found at an auto
parts store. It will read 0-10 PSI. I dont recommend useing 2-3PSI to test
the
tanks... Its is to easy to damage the tank .. just use a balloon over the
outlet ,, blow up the balloon with a hose over the vent fitting. I used
both
gas cap gasket on one cap which sealed off the filler cap. If the balloon
stays full for a few hours than you can start testing with fuel.. A 10
degree
temp change in your shop will change the balloon also. .... The following
is
something I posted on a web page last year.

More info on "Sealing Your Fuel Tanks"

I believe the wet wing system will work but I am not using there sealing
system.... I bought PRC in tubes ,, mostly the brushable type 890A-2
(a=brushable -2=2hr setup time ) .. Be sure an dip all rivets in pro-seal
on
the bottom of the ribs.... After the wing is complete except for the top
skin
(tank and top wing skin )... THEN AND ONLY THEN do you start to seal the
tank
area..... thin the 890A-2 with MEK and brush with a acid brush all seams at
least 2 or 3 times ... use a mag light in a dark room to leak test the seams
for pin hole leaks, then fill with water to test... be sure to brush over
all
rivet heads also.. Install top tank skin with a wet bead of sealer then
brush
around out side of tank...... BE SURE TO LEAK TEST AFTER YOU THINK ITS
SEALED.... THE 890 PRC is about $20 a tube plan on about 4-A and 2-b... I
got
mine from Courtaulds Aerospace SEA WA (206)483 3999 shelve life is 6 months
..
I am going to use a Capacitance type fuel system from Westberg MFG INC
707-938-2121 cost about $200 for the system ........ go luck with the PRC. -
