Hi all

Am ordering tach cable and am wondering if I should allow for some extra in
cable to allow for engine moving or just run it straight with as few bends
as possible

[rebel-builders] tach cable

If you can't do that...and I had bad luck with that although it turned out
it wasn't the cable it was a bad new mitchell tach...use a long cable that
can make a BIG diameter loop with it behind the tach. I believe my cable is
either a 39 or 41" Cessna Tach cable. I have it come thru the firewall in
line with the engine drive and then it comes in turns a large 90 and does a
full 270 (using the width between firewall and panel) into the tach. No
issues in 11 years.
