Hi Jean !

I'm with Ralph ! I have some good feedback from structural tests
that the rear floor is indeed a great contributor to fuselage strength !
I would go with rivets.

As several have suggested, I drilled 1/8" holes in front of the
bulkheads - you could put a few in the channels if you wanted. Probably
a good idea to coat the inside belly skin with epoxy primer - you won't be
in there again for a long time.

One winter, long ago, I was surprised to find a large block
of ice in the rear fuselage, just from snow blowing in the gaps
and melting over a couple of weeks ! The next day, I crawled under
and drilled those holes in the belly skin !!

Jean,
I'm going to disagree with Bob (first time for everything I guess). The
inner floor does for a "box" and adds substantial rigidity to the assembly.
I come down of the rivet side for max strength. Do however think way ahead
and make provision for anything which you may want under the floor in the
future. An example might be marker beacon antenna leads or fuel lines.
