Hi Gary !
As Wayne says, it depends on whether the mods were added -
there are several Rebels below serial number 100 that ARE 1,650 gross
airplanes. I believe number 007 has been updated to 1650....
as was #068, which was originally built as a 1,550 (heavier gear).
The hard part is - you can't tell just by the serial number,
unless it's over 200 or more ... I have #230, and it's a 1,650
Rebel, but there were some U/L Rebels with higher numbers, that
have only 1,058 gross !
Check for the mods Wayne mentions - you are likely OK !
