Yah...fly over with $9500 CASH (regular $10,665) so I can pay my property
taxes.... and take a brand new set of proven Hydraulic wheel skis home with
you, that are sitting in my shop, and then all you'll have to do is make the
attach pivots and hydraulic lines to match your airplane and be ready to go
at first snow!

:O)

Subject: [rebel-builders] tail dragger

hi gang

I had some repairs to make on my amphibs and felt it would be best to do
it in the shop this winter, sooooo, I took them off and put the wheels
back on.

Today I flew a tail dragger for the first time in 4 years!

What a difference. From sedan to sports car!

From a flying grocery cart to a squirrelly little difficult to get on the
ground light weight!

Anyway , it was really neat., So now I would like to make a set of wheel
skis. Looks like the tires have to be changed to a narrower type so the
brackets can be attached to the axle.

Any ideas??

Thanks bob fisher rebel 342

Hi Bob !

That's great ! Now you're all set for the Ramble !! ;-) :-)

Maybe you should fly your 'sports car' up to Wingham - the old airport -
grass strip -- and visit Tom Inglis to check out his wheels skis.
He made them himself, from a proven design, and they seem to work very
well.
