Rivnut vs Anchor Nut

You're right Alan, there are other options. Slightly faster and less
expensive to put in a rivnut would be my only response. There is a new
Cherry brand anchor nut that I saw on-line that is a single pull-rivet
installation. I might order some of those to try them.

Why not use an anchor nut (e.g. A6195-6Z-1D)?

I just uploaded two pictures of access covers that I have where they have
been dimpled for rivnuts. I've looked all over the web and can't find any
tool that creates these large dimples for rivnuts. Has anyone on the list
seen such a tool to create these rivnut dimples or is this some totally
custom deal that someone made?
The pics are in area 123 S/M Miscellaneous.
Thanks in advance...
