[rebel-builders] SR Weight and Balance Spreadsheet

Post by Bob Patterson » Sun Feb 19, 2012 11:13 am

Thanks Mike !

I notice the 2 top boxes don't multiply ....

Don't know if anyone has dropped a plumb from the leading edge,
but, according to an old factory W & B, the wheel axles on the SR
are about 1.5 inches AHEAD of the leading edge - which gives them a
moment of -1.5 .... just a thought - worth checking !!

[rebel-builders] SR Weight and Balance Spreadsheet

Mike the charts I have from Murphy show the allowable CG from 9 to 20.4 IF
using the wing leading edge as datum.
If using the center of main gear it is 10.5 to 21.9?
Or either way 15 to 34% chord?
Scott

I was just using the numbers from the manual. Oops. Why'd I do that?
Maybe I'll just use 11 to 20 as my limits to be safe.
