Fuel cap

I checked out the fuel cap included in my kit. The cap is steel and the neck
aluminum. After only a few turns I noticed serious wear on the aluminum
edges that contact the steel locking tabs. Is this just initial break-in I'm
seeing or does it continue to wear and eventually loose grip?
Comments welcome!

Paul, 5 years+ of flying and a lot of fill ups, my caps are still snug to
turn into to place. Have not noticed any real "wear" and they definitely
won't fall off. Check yours for a possible burr or slightly grease to stop
the galling.

Thanks Wayne. Installed it last week. Just a tad of silicone spray on the
underside of the rubber seal helped.
