Hi Luke
Just my thoughts on this. When you finally get right down to it, it is very
unlikely that the AN5-14A will be the exact size. It is better to test your
assembly with a longer bolt first and then completely test your rig first
from the torque tube right back to vertical push/pull tubes. Once you have
the throws & push pull tube coming out of the torque tube running level
WITHOUT BINDING at the ball socket assemblies, (forgot the correct name HE3M
bearings?), then order the correct bolt. Chances are it will not be a -14A.
If it is, I would be surprised.
The bolt can be changed to the proper length very easily once you are
satisifed with everything. No point on hassling MAM until you know what you
really need!

Luke,
It WAS the wrong email address, but it raises an interesting
question - Was that AN5-14A bolt on the original packing slip ??? If
it WAS, then you should have caught the shortage when you did inventory...
If NOT, then the packing list needs to be fixed ! Was that your objective ?

Grant,
I have come to yet another missing bolt in the control chapter.
AN5-14A, used to connect the bellcrank to the mixer arm,is called for but
was not shipped with my kit. This is getting frustrating ! It wouldn't be
so bad if I had a stash of aircraft hardware to grab from, but I do not, so
each missing piece causes furthur delay. Again,if you could review and give
instruction to shipping, it would help.
Thanks , LUKE
