Folks,

Quick question: I am interested in making a small
interior fairing to cover a custom latch I have made
on my Moose cargo door.

Does anyone know if you can start glassing straight
over a polyurethane foam mold without any sort of
release agent or wax paper?

What's the best way to do this?

Thanks, -Jason
If you want to make the foam a permanent part of the fairing you can just
glass over it but you must use epoxy resin because polyester resin will
dissolve the foam. If you want to remove the part several coats of latex
house paint sanded smooth followed by half a dozen coats of paste wax
should work.
