Hi Dave !

In Canada, builders MUST use the stainless firewall - and it's a
"Good thing."(tm) ! You might check that you have a full firewall -
I recall the early kits got an aluminum firewall, and later were sent
a flat stainless overlay for it.... In any case, the stainless steel
is safer for fire protection, so I would use it. If you have a full
stainless fw, you don't need the aluminum one.

One suggestion, though - mount the witches hats and cross braces
to the firewall BEFORE trying to install it on the fuselage - it's
a LOT easier to handle that way ! ;-)

I was wondering when the outer skins get rivited ? ( fus 39, 40 )
as the man has proceeded we just keep going on and on with no mention of
riviting these skins ? Now I'm going on to the inner floor channels between
the cabin uprights and bulkheads A and F. this would be section 12.15.1 I
just don't see how you can make these with the bulkheads not being rivited ?
One more item would it be to any advantage to go with the stainless steel
firewall or the stock fus 6 that came with the kit ?
Thank you to all that can help with these questions.
