Floats hyd system

Hi Guys: I am just completing running all the hydraulic lines for the electric and manual pump systems for Moose 226. Amphibious floats to be added later. I have one pressure gauge which I assume (there's that famous word again) should go in the gear down side of the system teed into that line. Is this correct??
