Hi Mike, I can't answer your question but since your talking about nose
bowls I'm just starting to research the type to order for my 912 Rebel.
The Rotax has water cooled heads and air cooled cylinders. Has anyone
found the ideal nose bowl that allows you to mount the rad underneath
the engine and have two air intakes close to the spinner?

Hi Mike !

I used the Thorp T-18 nosebowl from AS - it has smaller openings,
and looks quite sleek ! No problems with inlet air - needed larger
outlet air opening than originally set up, though ...

Have a look at mine at the Builders Meeting next Sunday ! There
are pics in the archives, too ...

Mines a tri-pacer nose bowl and it is pretty close to the formula IIRC and
I haven't had any cooling problems since enlarging the exit. Put up the
builders meeting date please Bob.
