Elite fuel lines

After all the discussion I measured our Elite today. It does not have the Sensenich prop mounted, empty tanks, and no one onboard. Tires are 8:00X6 and Mam Moose tailwheel. Gear is MAM standard spring gear.
In that configuration a straightedge and level shows a slope of about six tenths of a degree possible for the fuel line from rear of door, along door sill to firewall at floor height. Lines would then be run at firewall/floor junction to a tee left of firewall center. Then through firewall to Andair gascolator mounted in their mount. That will extend the gascolator below floor level. A short extension may be required to access quick drain through cowl bottom which extends about 4 inches aft of firewall. Gascolator would be the low point in the entire system. It looks like only the gascolator sump would be required. As propellor, fuel, and people are added it seems like the slope would become more positive (drain better) so that is the plan at present.
