Great news! 9 times out of 10 for Soobs it is also trapped air or steam.
If you know where it was trapped it is comforting to add a continuous
bleed from that point up to the collector where the fill cap is. Even a
3/16" line will help dramatically should you ever have cylinder head
gasket leakage or something. Some guys have found it necessary to vent
from the high point of the rad if air can trap there. I vent from the
engine outlet back to the fill tank and that works great. The outlet is
perhaps slightly higher than my fill tank (rad cap) in the 3 point
aircraft attitude but there is continuous flow and no burping is ever
required. Some guys have also put manual bleed ports on the rad but once
they confirm where the air is collecting it is much bettter to run a
continuous vent.
