Moose VG's & Wing Tips
Posted: Sun Feb 19, 2012 11:03 am
Hi All,
I've been away from the list for a while. Gone most of the winter I
unsubscribed winter of '05 and did not hook back up on my return. Busy
getting the Moose in the air. (May 20, 2005) I left the job of monitoring
the list to my partner Randy Bowers.
"Smoky" has flown just shy of 110 hours after returning from it's second
trip to Oshkosh SeaBase. We are still not painted. Yes, flies great, no
paint necessary.
Before paint we want to install VG's which we have in hand from Pacific NW
Areo. Installation planned within the next few weeks.
The other pre-paint item is wing tips.
I would very much appreciate any input from those flying the VG's and/or
Murphy's extended tips on your experience with each.
Are there any other options available or in the works for enhancing the
already fine flight characteristics of the Moose?
Regards,
Don Boardman
Randy Bowers
